Phoenix Suns Sign Early Warning Services as New Jersey Sponsor
Early Warning Services, maker of Zelle and Paze, replaces PayPal as the Suns' official jersey partner in a multi-year deal.
The Phoenix Suns have reached a multi-year jersey sponsorship agreement with Early Warning Services, LLC, the Arizona-based financial technology company behind Zelle and its digital wallet product Paze, the organizations announced. The deal makes Paze the featured brand on all Suns game jerseys, succeeding PayPal in that role.
The partnership carries a notable regional dimension: Early Warning Services is headquartered in Arizona, giving the arrangement a home-state character that both parties highlighted in the announcement. Zelle has grown into a widely used peer-to-peer payment platform, and the company appears to be leveraging that consumer recognition to build broader visibility for Paze, its newer digital checkout product.

Jersey patch sponsorships have become a significant revenue stream for NBA franchises since the league introduced them in 2017, providing companies prominent, nationally televised placement on players throughout an entire season. For Early Warning Services, attaching Paze to one of the league's marquee franchises represents a major consumer marketing push for a product competing in the crowded digital payments space.
The agreement signals continued investment by Early Warning Services in brand-building beyond Zelle, which already counts millions of American users across participating banks and credit unions. Paze, by contrast, is a newer entrant, and the Suns' jersey real estate offers high-visibility exposure during a full NBA season of broadcasts and highlights.
